Great River School Parent and Child program serves to enliven, enrich, and support parents
in creating a home life which fosters the healthy and joyful growth of early childhood.

It is an opportunity for parents and their young children (birth to 3 years) to engage in
activities of creative play, song, verses, movement games, stories and puppet plays, painting,
and snack. Activities are presented in a rhythmical way to ensure that children feel
comfortable and secure. While the children play, parents are encouraged to engage in a
purpose project. Working together parents have an opportunity to discuss topics that relate
to parenting and education.

Program Facilitator Margo Bisson an experienced Early Childhood Waldorf teacher who is
happy to share her wealth of knowledge with parents as well as to engage the children in lively
play, joyful songs and delightful puppet storytelling.

The Program is offered two mornings a week, Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00-11:30
