Tonia Tam Von Burg, Parent Handwork Educator

Tonia Tam von Burg grew up in Germany, where she received her education at Rudolf Steiner School, Berlin. After graduating Tonia went on to travel the wold for a 1 1/2 years. Settling in Ottawa, Tonia graduated with a BA in psychology and went on to do an apprenticeship with Margo Bisson to learn about Waldorf Early Childhood education. Following, Tonia offered a Waldorf inspired preschool program and went on to work at the Parsifal Waldorf School.   Tonia then taught for three years at Great River School.   In addition to teaching, Tonia enjoys preparing for the school festivals and creating crafts of all kinds. This year Tonia is leading parents in seasonal handwork groups.
